Come join us at the Kansas State Fair Debate to support Democratic Candidates:

  • Senator Cindy Holscher as she challenges Republican Senator Ty Masterson for Governor; and
  • Adam Hamilton as he faces Senator Roger Marshall in the race for US Senate

Free bus transportation available.

We will be chartering a Village Tour Motorcoach bus to transport us to and from the state fairgrounds.  We will meet at Village Tours at 4255 N. Ridge Road in Wichita. Bus doors will be open at 7:30 am, and we will depart at 8:00 a.m. We will return to Wichita after the second debate which ends at 3:00 pm.  The bus will let us off and pick us up at the gate in Lot A. There is a straight walk from the gate near Lot A to the Heartland Pavillion where the debate takes place.

  • You are responsible for purchasing your ticket to the fair.
  • Download the Kansas State Fair App for all things related to the fair! You can purchase tickets in the app for $9 (include a processing fee.)
  • Discounted fair tickets are available to purchase in advance at Dillons until September 10 for $4 (seniors, military, kids) and $7 for adults. After September 10 and at the gate, tickets are $10)
  • Scooters are available on a limited basis for those who need them.  They should be reserved in advance by calling Scootaround Mobility Rentals at 1-888-441-7575.
  • Trollies run from the parking lots and within the fairgrounds.
  • For those driving, the parking lot closest to the Heartland Pavilion is Lot A and is located north of the fairgrounds.
  • Signs are allowed and encouraged for the debate. The only rules are that signs cannot be lifted above your head or block the TV cameras; and signs may not be affixed to anything and placed in the ground. Campaign signage with Holscher and Hamilton’s logos will be provided to participants, as well.
  • Again, please respond here to ride on the bus and let us know you will be at the debate.
