Sedgwick County Grassroots Democrats sponsored a booth at the April 14 Open Streets ICT WSU & Shocker Neighborhood. The community-building event, organized by Wichita Park and Recreation and Wichita State University, drew hundreds of people to 17th Street from Oliver to Volutsia to enjoy food, music, special activities and booths sponsored by a variety of Wichita businesses, shops and organizations. Sedgwick County Grassroots Democrats shared a space along the traffic-free route with the Sedgwick County Democratic Party.
