SCDW meets every second Thursday of the month. This month’s meeting is Thursday, February 12th, at Felipe’s Restaurant, 3434 West Central Ave. in Wichita(The meeting starts at 6:30, but feel free to join some of us at 5pm for dinner and conversation)

After hearing from several of you that we should forego our May 14^th meeting at Felipe’s Restaurant and join other Sedgwick County Democrats at the South Central Kansas Legislative Delegation Public Forum, the SCDW Eboard voted to do just that.  Please join us and help to spread the word, that we will be at the Advanced Learning Center, this Thursday, May 14^th, at 5:15 pm. instead of meeting at Felipes.  We hope to see you there!!!

• Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. for speaker sign-up

• Each Speaker will have a maximum of 2 minutes for remarks

We hope to see you at our June membership meeting on Thursday, June 11th, at Felipe’s Restaurant, 3434 W Central.  If you want to eat prior to the meeting, be there at 5 p.m.  The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.  Dion Lefler, Opinion Editor of the Wichita Eagle, will be talking to us about the proposed Constitutional Amendment on the August ballot.  House District 101 Candidate Mary Ann Harmon will be joining us as well.  Hope to see you next month!
