Steven LeBlanc

President

Steven LeBlanc is a committed advocate for democratic principles and civic engagement, dedicated to empowering individuals to actively participate in shaping a stronger and more inclusive future. Through his example, he reminds us that integrity and accountability are not just ideals, they are the foundation of true public service. His commitment to servant leadership challenges us all to lead with humility, purpose, and unwavering dedication to those we serve.

 

Originally from Louisiana, Steven relocated to Wichita, Kansas in 2007. As a proud Army Veteran, he brings discipline, honor, and a deep sense of selfless service to every role he undertakes.

 

He currently serves as a Precinct Committee Person representing Sherwood Glen, Precinct 634, where he works diligently to strengthen community involvement and encourage civic participation. Steven’s commitment to helping others reflects his belief that real success comes from making a positive difference in the lives of those around us.

 

Beyond his political and community commitments, Steven has a passion for history and current events, enjoys traveling, and values opportunities to meet and connect with new people. He is happily married to his husband, Michael, and together they are raising two wonderful children.

Tracy Crum

Vice President

Tracy Crum was elected to Vice President for the 2026 term.

Tracy is a PCP for precinct 0339 in Wichita, KS.

Joyce Starrett

Treasurer

Joyce Starrett has been an integral part of SDGD since the organization was founded. Throughout her membership, Joyce has demonstrated her commitment and leadership by serving in key roles, including Secretary and Treasurer. She is Precinct Committee Person for 524 in west Wichita as well as a delegate for District 4 and the State. In her view, everyone must do their part to participate in our democracy and hold our elected officials accountable. No task is too small, whether it is writing emails to elected officials or postcards to voters. We owe it to future generations to do all we can keep our democracy.

When not involved in politics, you can find her traveling with her husband Gary, with whom she has shared over 30 years of being married. Other times you may find her in the garden tending veggies, herbs, flowers. Or, she might be taking pictures of butterflies, bees, flowers and her dogs, Roz and Max. Her motto is, “Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses!”

Steff  Roberts

Secretary

Frances works outside delivering necessities as well as fun stuff to the people on her route. She believes that liberty and justice for all means ALL. Not just some. She wants to help increase civic engagement and participation, and to help grow the Democratic party in Kansas, to protect and expand our rights as citizens. She has gone door to door for candidates in the past (and plans to help when she can in the future)and filled out postcards to encourage voters to turn out.

Outside of politics Frances enjoys going to concerts and to the movies. She an avid horror movie fan, but also enjoys other genres. She enjoys spending time with her two cats Milo and Max. And her two sons.
