DESCRIPTION:The Sedgwick County Grassroots Democrats meetings are held the second Monday of each month. Meet & greet begins at 6:00 PM. The meeting is called to order at 6:30. Guests are welcome. \nGuest Speaker Leslie Butsch\, ACLU\nGeneral Meeting \nWe are excited to welcome Leslie Butsch\, field director for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)\, as our guest speaker to our Monday\, May 13th meeting.  Prior to her joining the ACLU in June of 2022\, Leslie was a social worker. It was there that she observed how systems meant to help were causing harm and set out to change them.\nHear directly from Leslie on how her experience informed her actions going forward.  She will share this and more with us on the 13th – you will not want to miss it!
