DESCRIPTION:The Sedgwick County Grassroots Democrats meetings are held the second Monday of each month.\nJoin us for this month’s meeting on\nMonday\, September 8th!\nMeet & greet at 6:00 PM\,\nMeeting starts at 6:30.\nGuests are welcome. \nThis month’s speaker:\nJenna Grant\, WSU Young Dems President \nBio: We are a student-run organization that provides opportunities for students and young Democrats in Sedgwick County to actively participate in local politics. We are committed to boosting civic engagement by regularly hosting local candidates for forums and discussions and helping students find their polling place\, how to register to vote\, and more. By hosting these events\, we get to leverage our unique position on a college campus by interacting with a diverse range of voices\, including people from across the political spectrum and those who are apolitical. Ultimately\, we strive to educate students on key political and social issues and empower them to become leaders who create meaningful change in their communities.
