DESCRIPTION:USD 259 Board of Education\, DEI issue.\n\nThe issue is still under discussion in-house at the district…multiple DEI policies are under review for policy changes\, DEI info is still missing from the district website\, there has been no public announcement about the district’s position\, etc.\n\nThis is an issue the school board will ultimately need to vote on.\n\nPublic comment is encouraged on the issue at the May meeting this coming Monday (May 5)\, 6 pm\, North High.\nIt’s important to keep this issue on the front burner and help strengthen board members’ understanding and resolve to stand up for the right thing.\n\nHowever\, the issue will not be formally discussed (and voted on?) until the June meeting on Monday (June 9)\, 6 pm North High.\n\n If you want to speak\, here is more info on making a public comment.
