DESCRIPTION:August Warner Moore Luncheon: An August Birthday Celebration  \nPlease join us on Friday\, August 30th from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm at La Vela Event Venue\, located next door to the Candle Club at 6135 E 13th St N\, Wichita\, KS 67208\, to honor Senator Oletha Faust-Goudeau\, our state’s first African-American woman in the Kansas Senate\, who has represented the 29th district since 2009. Prior to her election as senator\, she served several years as representative for the 84th District. We will welcome a special surprise guest and cake will be served.  \n“Sen. Oletha” is revered in Wichita as “Everyone’s Senator.” Throughout her years of service\, Sen. Oletha has been recognized many times or her exemplary commitment to public service.
