SUMMARY:SCGD Monthly Member Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Sedgwick County Grassroots Democrats meetings are held the second Monday of each month. Meet & greet begins at 6:00 PM. The meeting is called to order at 6:30. Guests are welcome. \n\nAugust 12th meeting features Neal Allen \n\n\n\nNeal Allen is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Wichita State University.  He researches and teaches about politics in the United States and Kansas\, with a focus on law\, elections and the politics of race.  Allen is a regular contributor to local and state political media about politics\, and has been interviewed by NPR 1A\, the PBS Newshour\, NBC Nightly News\, the Financial Times\, and CNBC International.
